Our Team
David M. Katz, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. David M. Katz is a Board Certified Addictionologist who has experience with providing drug and alcohol rehabilitation services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Katz received his bachelor’s degree from the University of the City of New York, Medical Degree
from the University of New York, and completed his medical training at Downstate Medical Center, Kings County Hospital in New York City. Dr. Katz is committed to providing a high level of evidence-based addiction rehabilitation care in addition to having
a holistic focus on healing and recovery.
Matthew J. Seaman, NCPRSS
Director of Operations
Matthew is a native of San Diego, CA, where he began a 25 year career in Mortgage Banking, working for such financial institutions as Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, and Bank of America. After overcoming his own struggles with drugs and alcohol in 2015, Matthew chose a new path in recovery, and began working in the field of addiction treatment. He has dedicated himself to helping others suffering from substance use and mental health disorders. He is a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist, and is very involved in the local recovery community. Matthew’s story has been shared on television, radio, and in treatment facilities throughout Northeast Florida.
Matthew currently lives in Jacksonville Beach, FL, where he enjoys cooking, going to the gym, spending time with friends, and traveling home to San Diego to be with his family.
Rebekah Kerr, CRPS
CFO, Director of Client Services
In 2014, Rebekah overcame a long and heartbreaking struggle with alcoholism and addiction. Since then she has worked as a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist at Gateway Community Services, in partnership with the Florida Department of Children and Families, and is also a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator for FARR Certified Jax Sober Living Recovery Residences. Rebekah knows this is a family disease and believes in holistically treating the individual, as well as helping to heal the family. As Director of Patient Services her mission is to help those suffering from Substance Use Disorder and co-occurring disorders through her personal experience and the comprehensive program of patient services offered at Endless Summer Recovery, LLC.
Rebekah is a native of the Jacksonville Beaches who has traveled abroad extensively, but is always happy to return to her hometown. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Jacksonville University in 2000.
Patricia “Annie” Kindland, MA, DMCP, LMHC
Clinical Director
Annie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Florida and has over 7 years of professional experience working with individuals who suffer from mental health illness and/or substance use disorders. Annie has developed and managed multiple programs within community- based substance abuse and mental health services, including programs designed specifically for individuals identifying within the LGBTQI+ community as well as those utilizing medication assisted treatment. Annie has experience working in multiple treatment settings including outpatient and residential rehabilitation treatments for addiction, clinical research trials, and acute inpatient stabilization for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
For personal fun and stress reduction, Annie enjoys the visual arts. She likes painting, creating mixed-media pieces, and visiting museums and viewing local artisan artwork. Annie also enjoys practicing yoga in her down time.
LaToya St. Pierre, MA, RMHCI
Therapist
LaToya is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at Endless Summer Recovery. She graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Addictions Counseling. Her professional interests include co-occurring diagnoses, alternative/complementary therapies and transpersonal hypnotherapy. She is dedicated to the field of substance abuse and takes pride in helping clients utilize practical, life-changing tools gained during the therapeutic relationship.
LaToya recently relocated to Florida from South Carolina. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog, traveling and experiencing new cultures.
